On November 14, 2023, Alberta published an update on the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 2,810 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 873 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 696 applications under all pathways (Family Connection and In-Demand Occupation Streams, Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Priority Sectors, and Accelerated Tech Pathway) of the Express Entry stream. In addition, on November 9, 2023, the AAIP invited 16 candidates working in the healthcare sector who scored 305 points. This year, Alberta invited 3,519 candidates and issued 9,432 nomination certificates.
